On Sunday 18th January, regional organiser Simon Crane joined Homeland Party activist Josh Fernie and local residents in a protest against the use of the Patio Hotel to house migrants. The demonstration forms a part of a wider series of protests taking place across the country in recent years, with the Homeland Party positioning itself at the forefront of opposition to current immigration and accommodation policies.
