In a horrifying incident that demonstrates once more the failures of Britain’s broken immigration system, Sadeq Nikzad, a 29-year-old Afghan asylum seeker, was convicted of raping a 15-year-old girl in Falkirk town centre. Nikzad, who arrived in the UK via small boat after touring Europe, targeted the vulnerable teenager in broad daylight, following her before committing the assault. Sentenced to nine years in prison with an extended licence period and placed on the sex offenders’ register, Nikzad attempted to deflect responsibility by citing “cultural differences” and a language barrier. These excuses do nothing to mitigate the lifelong trauma inflicted on his young victim. This case is not just an isolated tragedy; it exemplifies the broader dangers of uncontrolled mass immigration and the urgent need for the Homeland Party’s Remigration policy.
As detailed in our comprehensive Immigration & Remigration Policy, the Homeland Party views remigration as a systematic reversal of policies that have enabled unchecked influxes of migrants, replacing them with measures to encourage and facilitate emigration. Remigration prioritises the removal of foreign criminals who pose a threat to society, guided by criteria such as criminality, political extremism, and cultural incompatibility. Unlike the undemocratic “replacement migration” experiment imposed on the UK without public consent, remigration is a democratic, practical, and morally sound approach to restoring national security and social harmony.
Nikzad’s crime is precisely why remigration is essential. Foreigners like him, who exploit Britain’s borders and then commit heinous acts, not only drain public resources but most importantly, endanger our communities. According to official figures referenced in our policy, as of December 2023, there were 10,423 foreign nationals in UK prisons – comprising 12% of the total prison population of 87,489. The data unfortunately does not include ethnicity, but we would expect this number to be much higher if the Home Office acted without bias in their reported figures.12,000 foreigners were living freely in the community despite being eligible for removal. The cost to taxpayers is staggering: housing, feeding, and securing these offenders in prison runs into millions annually, funds that could instead support British families, homeless veterans, or our overburdened public services. In Nikzad’s case, his nine-year sentence will burden the taxpayer further, all while the victim and her family bear the emotional and psychological costs of a preventable atrocity.
The Homeland Party advocates for deportation over imprisonment for foreign criminals. Why should British taxpayers pay the bill for incarcerating individuals who have harmed our people and have no deep-rooted loyalty to our nation and could be returned to their homelands? Remigration would expedite the removal of such offenders, preventing them from reoffending on our streets and sparing future victims. By eliminating incentives like welfare handouts and legal leniency – benefits that attract opportunistic migrants in the first place – we can encourage voluntary emigration for those who do not align with our values. Where migrants come seeking state handouts, leniency from the law, and other privileges, removing these incentives would prompt them to leave.
Moreover, remigration addresses the root causes of crimes like Nikzad’s by integrating immigration control into every facet of governance, from policing to foreign policy. Our policy emphasises rebuilding the state apparatus to prioritise the well-being of native Britons, rejecting the multicultural experiment that has led to cultural degradation and increased crime. Cases like this one demonstrate the human cost of inaction: a young girl’s life shattered because borders were not secured and dangerous individuals were allowed to roam free. The Homeland Party’s stance is clear—remigration is the sensible, radical overhaul needed to confront demographic replacement and overpopulation head-on.
We must not wait for more victims. We call for a binding referendum on mass migration to give the British people a direct say. Polling consistently shows opposition to large-scale immigration, yet successive governments have ignored the will of the people. Join us in localised opposition efforts, like our successful campaign in Erskine against migrant hotels, and support remigration to protect our homeland.
The Sadeq Nikzad case is a wake-up call. Through remigration, we can deport foreign criminals swiftly, save taxpayer money, and most importantly, safeguard our communities from further harm. Stand with the Homeland Party for a secure, unified Britain.
