Tree Planting in Forfar

On a chilly Sunday morning, Scottish activists from far and wide joined the North East branch to help the native woodlands of Forfar.

Branch Organiser Dave Gardner ordered the trees from the Woodland Trust and called on the help of his friends within the Party to plant them. The trees, including Oak, Rowan, Crab Apple, Hazel and Hawthorn, provide food and habitat for the local wildlife. After a solid morning effort, the team headed for a pub lunch.
