Last weekend, several members of our Glasgow Branch — including veteran nationalist activist Davy Wilson — attended a demonstration opposing the introduction of digital ID. While acknowledging that digital ID systems may offer greater convenience, those in attendance raised concerns about the risk of function creep, the potential loss of privacy, and increased government surveillance, including the ability to track individuals’ movements.
