Last weekend, our tireless East Yorkshire members rolled up their sleeves and carried out a thorough litter pick behind Cottingham High School, tackling the unsightly piles of plastic bottles, crushed cans, and scattered crisp packets that have built up along the fence line over years of student use. They patiently dug out bag after bag of waste, improving the look and safety of this important community space right on our doorstep. This kind of hands-on work is exactly what our hard-working members do week in, week out taking real pride in Cottingham and making our town cleaner and more pleasant for everyone. Huge thanks to our volunteers for leading by example, proof that strong local representation starts with getting stuck in.
