Homeland activists from West Midlands and Wales met at Haughmond Abbey near Shrewsbury to explore this Augustinian monastery founded in the 12th century and to enjoy a woodland walk. This was followed by lunch at a local country pub after which some of the group decided to take the forest path up to the top
