Once again, the residents of Erskine have voiced their discontent and opposition to the settlement of migrants in their vicinity.

Over the last eight months, these admirable individuals have demonstrated immense grit and resilience in the face of adversity.

Throughout this period, they have remained steadfast and unwavering. At the same time, the duplicitous politicians have engaged in a blame game, shirking their responsibilities and failing to take any meaningful action to address the situation at hand.

Despite the challenging circumstances, these good people have persevered, displaying a commendable determination.

The counter-protestors comprise the usual useful idiots like the trade union reps, student types, and one local. However, their numbers have recently increased by a dozen hotel “guests” joining them.

It has come to our attention that a communist newspaper has been actively publishing articles about the event. These articles, although amusing, are rife with falsehoods and accusations of intimidation against us.

We find these claims baseless and without merit, and we assure everyone that we are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees. The press is essential but must be exercised responsibly and honestly. We hope that future event coverage will be more objective and fact-based.

There have been instances where those on the political left have been known to accuse their opponents of the very behaviour they are exhibiting.
